WHY IS NO ONE BUYING WHAT I AM SELLING

For some of us, shopping is therapeutic, even all we do is window shop or virtual shop online, it comes with these feeling we can’t explain especially to men. πŸ˜‰ So don’t blame babe when you see her scrolling up and down. It does magic for us. That’s on a side note though, let’s now talk about business.

Everyone is buying, so why am I not selling, not getting orders, not even getting someone asking about my products. It calls for concerns, it gets more worrisome when think you have done your parts but nothing is happening.

1. HAVE YOU DEFINED YOUR TARGETS?.

You can’t sell to everyone. Everybody will not buy from you, but some will, they are the people who needs your services or products. You should know them and focus on getting their attention first. All these sounds good, yes, but if your products and services are not tailored to meet specific needs of specific targets, this can’t work. And of course, it makes your work more difficult. If you are not focusing and planning to sell to someone then no one is buying, because you will not attract anyone. I’ve heard people say I make womenswear- so I ask – which category of women. Young, middle age, 50 +, professionals and the list goes on……. Research then define

2. GET YOURSELF OUT THERE! BE KNOWN.

You’ve probably been told by a motivational speaker- ” Build it and they will come” Hellur… they will come, but to who and to where and why should they? If no one knows you exist, then there is no point. What real efforts are you making in getting more publicity? Getting your brand name out (and to mention by the side, how sweet and memorable is your business name. Can they remember it easily?) Having lots of followers doesn’t define your patronage level. Are they adding to your customer base.

3. ANY ADDED VALUE?

If I buy from you, what will I gain? Asides the product, services etc, what else are you putting on the table that will keep me back or telling others more about your business?.

You may think your products are superb, are your customers thinking same way? Real value is what keeps then glued. It comes in different ways, just get creative and create yours specially.

No matter what your are selling, always imagine a line of market women selling the same thing, why is there one woman that is always selling, she is every customer’s friend and she sells out daily. She is the woman that knows the secret of value added services even as uneducated as she is. Start working on yours.
